Recovering Convicts is a community project founded by Ryan Nichols. Use the request form below for questions about your information.

What we collect and why

Newsletter signup stores your name, email, optional reason for joining, consent, signup time, and subscription status. Sponsor, mentor, and privacy forms store the contact details and message you submit so the team can review them.

Community participation uses Sign in with ChatGPT. The site receives your site-specific user identifier and email, and may receive a display name. Posts store your chosen public alias, message, category, review status, and time. Your email is not displayed with posts. Reports store a user identifier and the reported post.

What is public

Approved posts and replies are visible to anyone. Do not share sensitive information. Form submissions and review tools are restricted to authorized team access. This website does not sell member information or provide subscriber lists to sponsors.

Service providers and security

The site uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare hosting and storage. ChatGPT handles sign-in. These services process information under their own terms and policies. Hosting services may process technical request information. To limit abuse, the site keeps short-lived hashed rate-limit keys derived from technical request information or account identifiers. No advertising trackers are added.

Retention and your choices

Records are kept to operate the community and handle requests. You can remove your own community posts, use your signup confirmation’s unsubscribe link, or submit a removal request below. Unsubscribing stops future newsletter use; it does not automatically delete other records. The team may need to verify a request before acting. Review times vary and deletion may take additional time in service backups.

Adults only

This community is intended for people 18 or older. We do not ask for conviction details, register numbers, or health records. Please do not submit them.

Email and outside links

Email delivery is not active at launch. If enabled, each newsletter will include an unsubscribe option. External resources follow their own privacy practices.
