LESSON 03 · 25 min

Plan a simple business website

Create a clear page plan with a service, proof, and an obvious next step.

1. Sketch the page before building

Write five blocks: what the business does, who and where it serves, its services, genuine proof, and contact. If you do not have genuine proof, leave it out. Do not invent reviews.

2. Write the main action

Choose one action, such as request a quote. Decide where the button goes and what happens next. A button that does nothing is not a completed project.

3. Build and check

Use a website builder you can access and understand. Check its current free-plan limits and publishing costs before committing. Build your practice page, then check links, spelling, contrast, and layout on a narrow screen.

4. Test the full journey

Ask a friend to find the service and contact option without coaching. If your practice site includes a form, test the form and verify the request arrives. Label practice forms clearly and avoid collecting real customer information.

Your next step

Finish a one-page practice site and record three things you fixed after testing.
